The Theme:

Of the 2.5 million residents who make up the City of Toronto, half were born outside of Canada. With our third Salon, The Immigrant, we explore how the themes of identity, integration, assimilation, inclusion and exclusion manifest themselves in one of the most multi-racial, multi-cultural cities in the world.

The Location:

The Immigrant will be held at one of the most innovative new community spaces in Toronto, the Live Open Market at the Scadding Court Community Centre.  Just opened as of June 17^th, this colourful “pop up” market is part of an effort to revitalize and redefine the area, providing small, local vendors with commercial space and breathing new life into the neighbourhood.

The R.E.A.L. Party is a weekend camping event for ubReal2 members.
Bring a tent, we'll supply the starlight, the forest, the fire and
the music. There will be lots of home cooked, Trinidadian style food
for sale, but feel free to bring your own. Please no glass or litter.

This party is the first place where you'll get to hear our sound.
Dance to the ubReal2 band and some of Toronto's finest DJs as we
create a multi-media gateway to the vibration of R.E.A.L~Respect,
Acceptance,Energy & Love~ through music, dance, art and projections.
The weekend is the pre-launch to our official CD release,
The R.E.A.L. Show.

Why do we dance? Because we Breathe. We are all meant to be here together.
