As many of you know one of the greatest producers of Underground Dance music, is in town for his yearly stopover. Thats right DENNIS FERRER will be in Toronto this Friday!
In typical Joonya T fashion you know it wouldn’t be an official party without THE MEGAMIX.. After the tremendous feedback I have recieved from the 1st Dennis Ferrer Megamix I made in 2007 its only fair that I make one for his return in 2008.. Below is a quick look @ the tracks I will be using for the mix, some old some new including his next smash single Featuring Dido. Stay tuned because I gaurentee that this one will be CERTIFIED FIRE !!

I know i might sound like a broken record, but you need to understand that these new features on my website are allowing me to connect with my users in ways that used to be impossible. This time your getting a look into the making of a Joonya T mix (no, no videos, atleast not yet, cant show ya’ll EVERYTHING!)
Every month I bring you some of the hottest Deep & Soulful house out, there’s a lot of new things that come out everyday, but the ability to filter out the sound I prefer is the hard part. This will be the first of many blogs dedicated to giving you an early “peek” at whats to come in the coming. Below is the tracklistng I plan on using for the upcoming mix. The JoonyaT.com rebuild has continued with a focus on some new features.
First off, I’ve added a “Share” button on my podcasts, feeds, and pages. Clicking on this button will allow you to share content from JoonyaT.com to almost all of you favourite social networks, as well as the option to E-Mail the posting to friends! However I still have not gotten around to tweaking it to work properly in IE. So for now, it only works for users who use FireFox and any other browser except IE.
Secondly, I have added a facebook connector for my website. What’s that mean ?
Well to make it simple. Everytime I post something new here weather its a blog, a new podcast mix, photos, ect. It will automatically post a message on my facebook wall so that all of my users on facebook will be in the INSTANT loop.
There will be times throughout the next few weeks where my website may look weird, or have some content missing. This will only happen for a short period of time, and be sure that my website wouldn’t be left messy overnight. So bare with me!

So it looks like after 2 weeks of thinking my “Facebook Empire” was over, I decided to check my hotmail and noticed that i had about 12 facebook messages alerting me of event invites & group invitation.. I knew this could only mean one thing. After trying to login, it was true, my 1st Facebook account is now backonline and active 
Just in time to celebrate the 1st day of my site’s re-launch..

http://www.joonyat.com is finally updated, I know… LONG OVERDUE !
I guess i was looking for the right inspiration to get me started. What turned into a regular “post mix” process turned into an instant mess!! As many of you know I make a monthly mix dedicated to deep & soulful house. Like every other mix, there are outlets that I use to promote my mix mainly Facebook & Email.
Long story short, I sent a message to “All Members” of one of my groups on facebook and they flagged it as “spam”. When in fact a lot of my listeners rely on that method to know when something new is available. So as I was sending out the message to the group with over 3000+ members as I would normally do, I was abruptly logged out automatically and asked to login. Only to be told my account was disabled.
Now don’t get me wrong, I realize that 3000+ messages may seem mighty “spammish” but you need to understand I was made admin to do that very thing. Along with the fact that a button to “Message All Members” even exists in a group of that size had me in disbelief that I was in fact disabled. But even after sending an email explaining the situation I am still yet to hear a responce.
And So, The Rebuild began.

Here’s the new website in a nutshell. After working with many layouts & designs in the past few years, I was looking for something that would allow me to connect with my audience. Something that would get my information out as quick and as efficient as possible, as well as integrate all the features of my social sites into my own website which would avoid limitations. So Here It Is !

Maybe it’s your 1st time to the site and you want to browse genre’s? or maybe you just want to complete your JoonyaT Series of mixes. To your right is your 1 stop navigation shop to the full Joonya T archive. GO NUTS ! Things are always posted from NEWEST to OLDEST..
People @ work, don’t worry I once hated the same cubicle your sitting in. I once was told “Don’t over use your allowed space on the network drive.” Once again your boy Joonya T is looking out for you. For every mix on the site there is now an inline player which will allow you to stream the mix directly from my server! Thats right, no more wait times to listen to the new mix, just click PLAY!

- Complete Blogging Feature | Whats Blogging?
You know that I always have something to say, suggest, talk about ect. Now I can do it on my own website! Blogging is basically a way to say current with new information. Whether it’s news, weather, sports, or in my case Music & Events. Think of it as an alert, when something new is posted on my website (or blogged) you will be the first to know if you subscribe to my “news feed” (RSS Feed). So, how do you subscribe? Well if you want to get instant updates on when new information is posted on my website all you have to do is add http://joonyat.com/feed to your RSS Reader, if you don’t know what a RSS Reader is just stick to checking back more frequently
- Full Podcast Capabilities | Whats Podcasting?
The real significant change on JoonyaT.com is the BRAND NEW PODCAST! That’s right, no more worrying about if I have enough space to upload a new podcast on one of those other “Free” podcasting services. Don’t get me wrong they are good for your average podcaster, but for someone like myself who releases so many mixes that at times its hard to keep up, this is AMAZING..Podcasting is exactly like “Blogging” except it involves AUDIO and not text only. Most people are using iTunes by now (still not a fan by the way) to download & listen to thier podcasts, but there are still other podcast “grabbers” out there that will do the same thing without the resource slowdown.
Add http://joonyat.com/feed/podcast to your iTunes, and you should instantly see over 30 mixes shown, at that point (depending on your iTunes settings) you can click “GET” on any mix you want to listen/download.
